Lost Account

I relinked my steam account to a new path of exile account. Due to this I lost my two characters that had a lot of progress completed on both. Going through all my emails I can't find my old login. All I know is that the account name was BaconyBacon. Am I just screwed and have to go through the game again, or is there a way to recover my old account/characters?
