Low resource Lightning Strike cosmetic

I am crashing multiple times a day due to Lightning strike + enemies + loot.

Would it be possible to have a cosmetic that reduces particle effects? Something that is low resource intensive.

I would pay good money to REDUCE the amount of things going on screen and have better performance than yet more particle effects and cosmetics lagging the system.
