Some of the workers has crazy high wage.
I would suggest to nerf some of the high wage jobs like mapping/disenchanging ones by at least 20-30%.
I don't ask for gold buff because I know that would interfere with the town leveling progress and the currency exchange but the wage cost of some workers are simply too high. Too big to ask from everyone to sustain 50k wage/hour setup. Last bumped on Aug 6, 2024, 5:38:15 AM

The system is not designed to be sustained at 50k per hour at all times. It's exactly what GGG wanted to avoid - a system that is TOO good and replaces the actual gameplay whilst basically running on itself. Such as garrisons in WOW Warlords of Draenor expansion.
Mapping is by far the most expensive, thus its priority should be the lowest. Disenchanting - you don't need a lot of dust for shipping, just sprinkle literally 50 pcs and you're good. And you get like 5k from just one item. What you want to sustain at all times is farming because that is strictly time gated without any workaround. And crops is the only merchandise produced by your town that exchanges to raw currency in shipping. You want to have it maxed. | |
Is this normal that I'm not even sending mappers because they cost too much? Low rank mappers die and can't even do high tier maps. High lv mappers cost too much.
Their wage has to be nerfed. Mission table in wow was amazing and it actually took months to get all the recruits leveled to max. Nobody is talking about self sustaining system. You still need gold but when you want mappers to run t16's you need 6 of them and at least rank 8+ They will cost like 10-15k a group depending on ranks, That is way too high.
