Consistent Latency spikes on Japan realm

Been having some fairly awful latency spikes on Japan realm. Unplayable on lockstep at the moment for me. Seems to happen with Japan realm every league. Sometimes my hideout appears fine, but I enter a map and it spikes to 200+ms every couple of seconds., even Sometimes even going into the thousands. Completely bricks the map. Very frustrating to not be able to play on my nearest realm.

Switching to Singapore puts my latency at around ~70ms, but at least it's consistent and playable on Predictive.
