Issue with respec in Atlas

I'm trying to respec my Atlas passive tree. However, when I exit the screen, it deletes the new changes (or sometimes keeps some of them) despite me pressing "X" to save changes. Also, on many occasions, it won't let me respect some nodes (despite them not disrupting the rest of the tree).
