Game Crash - Cant Load Into Game From Character Select

Since the settlers patch, Ive been unable to enter the game. The client seems to be working fine since I can log in and access my character list and even make a new character. Once I try to enter the game however, the music plays on, but the cogs aint moving. When I then click on the screen it just tells me PathOfExile.exe isnt responding. I seem to have the same issue with both a new settlers league character as well as standard characters.

Ive already tried completely deleting and reinstalling the game. Anyone got any other advice?

same problem here reinstall not helping dx11/12 vulkan aint doing the trick drivers updated / rolled back not doing anything either complete pc reset didnt help also clearing cache didnt do anything i feel like im out of options until GGG comes with a fix. at first crash only happened when i chose a character and wanted to load into the game now sometime i cant even get to choose anything cuz it just stops responding during loading.

going through the same thing, tried everything and nothing works. GGG please fix it

Ugh. Yah, now Im sometimes crashing just loading to character selection too. Really sad since everyone seems to have such rave things to say about this league. I havent been able to play for more than 2 minutes. :-(
