I have a bug with Verisium ore where it doesn't work

I can't get any of the Verisium ore to trigger. When I do it doesn't fill up the bar no matter how long I hold a on my controller. The first time I ran into some I died because I fully charged it and wasn't ready. It disappeared off the map when I came back. Now each one won't allow me to click on it and when I eventually do it just sits on an empty bar but has full tendrils showing. I've restarted both the game and my series x and nothing changed. I am hard locked out of progressing my settlement. Please look into as soon as possible. Thank you as well it's been a great league besides that so far.

Do you have bound skill on Verisium trigger button?
