Cant Patch even after following recommendations and reinstall

Please help. I get the message could not overwrite executable with new patched executable even after completely uninstalling and deleting all Poe files and reinstalling. I have never had this issue and have been playing since 2020

Run as admin.
Install game in different HDD than OS. | |
" Cancelling the update and then kicking off a new one usually makes that message go away. You don’t need to be in admin mode. You need to upload pictures to something like imgur. Then you get the BBCode of the pictures and paste that link in here. Pictures should then load | |

Found this in another post... try this if the file exists...
Go to the path of exile folder and delete PathOfexile.exe, then rename PathOfExile.tmp to PathOfExile.exe and run it. |
