just lost all my characters, help!

hello, i'm not really sure what i just did..
I tried linking my steam account so i could start trading and saw my steam account was already linked to another account with a weird name 'https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/cocksuck54' . I did not realise that this would cause all of my characters to be connected to his GGG account... I had previously played POE for a couple hours years ago and my steam was hacked in 2023, i think that somehow my steam account was linked to the hacker's GGG account and that i just lost them by unlinking them. please help!
