Runecrafting on shields

From what I can see, you can only runecraft on weapons.

This currently leaves Spectral Shield Throw and Shield Crush behind.

Can we extend some of the applicable one-handed crafts to also apply to shields?

I'll second this

True... It still feels kind of bad to min-max Shield Crush of the Chieftain despite the Buffs. I guess other Shield based attack gems feel simular. It was way worse the last two leagues i tried and overall i think this league is pretty good, but still would love to see some more variants to do so.

and uniques, most rares are already lightyears more powerful than uniques anyway.
