Constant game crashes
Guys, wtf is going on with the game this patch ?
Anyone else having an issue with the game crashing all the time ? I got "kicked from the game for performing too many actions too fast" or something like that and had to do lab 5 times :S Every 15-20min it crashes. Any idea what is going on and if there is a way to fix it ? Thanks Last bumped on Jul 28, 2024, 7:20:52 PM

Same here :|
2-3 min -> crash | |
Spoiler
Same, game is nearly unplayable. Sometimes it will crash before it even gets to the login screen. Crashes are seemingly random.
Tried: - DirectX 11 (was 12) - Fullscreen/windowed mode (seems more stable in fullscreen) - Compatability mode for win 8 - Graphics Driver update - Various graphics settings Nothing really helps except setting the game to fullscreen. This took the crashes from continuous to every ~10 min. UPDATE: -Updating BIOS has not helped. -Reducing CPU overclock (to standard boost speeds) seems to have improved stability, but not fixed the issue. more testing needed. UPDATE 2: I feel I have gotten the crashing down to a reasonable level. For me I think the issue is the way the game handles adaptive V-sync while the CPU is overclocked. There might be a conflict between Nvidia Control panel's G-sync and Adaptive V-sync in the game, which is exacerbated by overclocking. Obviously a complex problem that might be unique to my machine, but this is what improved the issue for me: 1- Update BIOS (for 13th and 14th gen intel CPUs) 2- Stock Overclock settings (Boost OC seems to be fine, its doesn't like manual OC settings entered into the BIOS) 3- Windowed mode (not borderless) 4- V-sync set to "locked" 5- Renderer set to "DirectX 12" With these settings I have been able to play for a few hours now without crashing. Other settings seemed to make no difference. Will update again if something changes. Specs: 13700k RTX 3080 32GB DDR5 Gen4 SSD (windows)Tiny 10 Last edited by Savatiri on Jul 29, 2024, 6:59:13 PM

I had problems with crashing either just as the game started or as it loaded. Usually in town areas.
Not sure if it was a fix or not. But I flashed my BIOS to latest version. (Asus Mobo). Haven't had a crash after that, yet. It might have something to do with the intel problems on gen 13-14 CPUs. It should be possible to fix it without updating. I just took the safe route. Last edited by BalkothGolgothan on Jul 28, 2024, 7:24:38 PM
