Game crash on 2nd fase of boss in map Dark Forest

I just had a weird situation. I entered the map 'Dark Forest', everything was fine and as soon as 2nd fase of the boss started, my whole CPU went crazy 100% mode and closed the game and everything outside of POE was freezing for a short moment.
I went in again and as soon as I walked up to the boss, it did the same thing. I am wondering if anyone else experienced something simular. I've been playing fine all day yesterday. -settings- - POE is on direct12 setting - PC Settings: CPU: I7 8700K Memory: 32 GB ram GPU: Nvidia 1080TI Looking forward to hear peoples reactions/experiences.- Last bumped on Aug 14, 2024, 3:25:05 AM

Same issues here, it's happened several times this league, but not always.
I can get into the boss area fine, but as I walk toward the boss the game starts to stutter and then crashes. Update: Swapping to DirectX 11 prevents the crash.
