Error connecting to instance

Everything was working fine when I went to bed last night. Played through level 40. Then, this morning, I'm in a situation where I can log in (first screen) and pick my character (second screen), but as soon as I do, I get a "Error Connecting to Instance" message and get disconnected. After disconnection, it asks me to login again, but it won't unless I exit the game and restart.
