Xbox, Cant change what ore the miners are assigned to

I have tried to change what ore my miners are assigned to from crimson to orichalcum.

I have tried with lvl 1 and lvl 2 mining camp. I can pull up the list. But cant do anything else.

Same for the PS right now. I did find a work around for the time being. Use the town map outside of the pub and you can remove the miners and add them to other materials that way.

Same :( unable to switch to a different ore.

The only workaround I found is not pickup the Lower tier ore and the miner auto picks the next tier once the lowest is empty.

Same for PS4/PS5. Can open the menu to select which ore to mine, but you can't actually move up/down. Clearly this was thoroughly tested

Edit: above poster is correct. You can do a workaround by assigning the workers through the map rather than the mine itself
