3.25 'Town' / League progress and migrate from private to normal league

Hello,

If we start 3.25 in a private league and at some point migrate to the parent / core league, what happens to our 'town' progress. Do we need to start from scratch or does it come with us?

Hey there,

I have passed this question on to the relevant team members. Once we hear back from them, we'll get back to you about this.
Thanks Cory!

I appreciate how busy it must be for everyone at GGG (especially today!) but do you think the team members will likely be in a position to get back to you before league launch?

I'm afraid we aren't able to speculate on how long it might take for the team to get back to us with the full details of this!

However, in the past, league progress was migrated alongside stashes when performing a manual migration from a Private League, with the furthest progressed league taking precedence.
Understood! Thanks very much JC!
Hey there, when players migrate into a league with no current village state it will copy their entire village state except for mapping and disenchanting.

If they transfer into a league with a village state then it keeps the state from the league transferred to but adds their gold, resources and workers up to the limit they have unlocked.

Consideration for the team then, if this functionality goes core and included in future leagues.
If you have the maximum workers in both instances when merging, will we get a workers remove only tab?
I imagine after a few leagues, players could end up with hundreds of migrated workers stored up - in which players would then need to release all excess workers?
Food for thought, months to consider the impact of this functionality going core.
