If you stand AFK in hideout overnight a lot of the time the game will crash and the client.txt will have this message in it:

Bump, issue is still happening, including on Vulkan. Same situation as OP, game had been minimized for ~2.5 hours, although I was active on the computer throughout that time. After bringing it back up again, it crashed immediately.
