Locus Mine Controller Targeting
The alt behaviour targeting for locus mines is really inconsistent between skills and in general just awful for controller.
Making the Alt behaviour target a set location that isn't at your feet feels needed for it to be a viable option for controller play. Last bumped on Nov 13, 2024, 2:37:50 PM

I also got the same Problem, if Monster somehow get in your face you cant throw the mines past them and that causes them no not detonate, this needs to be fixed somehow.

Agree alt behavior should be either max range ( ignoring targeting, like caustic arrow with pierce used to be leagues ago) or to 3.1 metres away to guarantee triggering if it doesn’t hit environment.

I hate to be a "git gud" guy, but I've played a PS Miner as one of my builds this league, and I find it to be playable.
If there are monsters on top of me, I need to move. I shouldn't be facetanking stuff whole packs anyway. So far, I only use the default behavior, but I did plan to add a second binding with the alt behavior (at feet) to let me prestack mines and then explode them when I want to by moving away from the pile. I *do* wish there were some way to make it spread less when throwing far, but it's not really a big deal. There are literally hundreds of different builds in this game, and not every playstyle is for every player. Some people love minions, some people hate them. Some people love melee skills, some people hate them. Locus Mines has a huge damage multiplier specifically because it's annoying to use. You get extra damage for being willing to put up with its awkwardness. It should not be homogenized to be like other mine supports. If you can't stand the playstyle, I recommend a different build. All that said, if they want to improve the targeting of skills on console in general to allow more control (NOT more automation), I'm all for that. | |

These problems will disappear when GGG decides to implement keyboard and mouse. But GGG is only listened to by 10 players who play only AFK builds. And these players forbid GGG to implement keyboard and mouse. Play sado-masochists
