Cannot Invite or Join Friends (Xbox)

As title suggests, unable to invite or join friends on Xbox clients. Get a "Something Went Wrong" popup from Xbox went attempting and the option is not there in the Xbox game menu.

That's a known issue. Make sure the allow friends to join group setting is turned on. It is off by default for some reason
