Account locked, no longer have access to my email.

Personal feelings about this pointless recently added "security" feature forced on me without my consent aside, how can I fix this.

I just got my girlfriend a new computer and sat down to play, just to see I'm forced to verify my email. It's been a decade, I don't use it anymore, it's irrelevant. How do I fix this?

Since I still owned the domain, I've once again re-created the email account and after updating DNS was able to get the email delivered. No longer need help, I can update to a better email myself. Thanks.
