Guild leader died

A close friend of mine that got me interested in PoE is the leader of the guild. He passed away a couple years ago and I just started playing again and was really happy to see that I was still in his guild.

May I get leadership of the guild while keeping him in it...i would rather just stay in the guild without being able to buy a stash if I cant just transfer leadership.
