you cannot be hindered

I absolutely hate it when my character's action speeds are slowed. It makes the game feel really bad to me, so I took the "cannot be maimed, cannot be hindered" node.

Well, I'm still being slowed by just about anything and everything in the game.
Does this node actually not do anything?

According to the POE Wiki:

Hinder = "your movement speed is reduced"

So if I "cannot be hindered" then why am I constantly being slowed?
Is hinder only a very specific type of slow but there are actually many other ways to be slowed that this node doesn't work against?

Okay, so there's probably no way to stop all causes of slow.
I think I'll use that point somewhere else since I'm getting slowed everywhere anyway.
