Grand Heist Niles trying to open door from wrong side

In grand Heist I could not leave the final room because there was a closed door. Niles needed to open the door with counter-thaumaturgy. Every time I clicked or used the action button to send him to open the door he popped up on the far side of the door surrounded by enemies. He then could not open the door because he was getting hit. I backed away and tried again, but nothing helped. I can't complete the grand heist.

I just encountered the same bug with Nenet on normal heist. :(


The door is facing the wrong side and there's is no way to help nenet trying to open it.

Same thing with Gianna in deception contract.
