Gamepad on PC: "Compare/More Actions" tooltips not appearing

When I press and hold the left analog stick to view a more detailed tooltip for an item, the tooltip disappears entirely sometimes.

Trying to view detailed tooltips of currency/maps behaves as described above. However, when viewing detailed tooltips of equipment, the tooltip disappears when depressing the left analog stick, then on releasing it, the detailed comparison tooltip appears and stays on screen until hovering over a different item.

The issue appears to occur:

+ In the endgame, after leaving a map and returning to my hideout.
+ Only when the stash is opened (inventory and vendor menus are unaffected)
