Two Factor Authentication (2FA, MFA)

During a recent stream interview, Jonathan Rogers stated that two factor authentication was something that needed to be implemented. Account theft and hacking is still a major problem with this game due to real money traders looking to breach and liquidate accounts for real world money. Just yesterday, Jorgen, a popular streamer, had his account raided by real money traders.

Can you please provide an update on when proper two factor authentication will be implemented? Is this being planned for the rollout of Path of Exile 2 release or will we see this beforehand?
