GGG didnt respected this concept art.. buyers beware

In concept art atzoal map device is almost black on gold and lush vivid red.

In game map device red color is plastic washed out, barely noticable!

It really is! Dont buy supporter pack before you see that map device in game. Its washed out compared to concept art.

Whoever does concept art is doing amazing and whoever does real ingame assets is probably overloaded with work. And atzoal map device is very very expensive!!!!
I swear if they make some maven "Simon says" insta-death minigame, sirus, exarch ball minigame then i wont play poe2.

It also does NOT behave properly. When you open a map it's supposed to spin like in the video. It doesn't. You completely miss out. When you enter the map the animation must trigger because is you go back to your hideout the stone has spun. What a rip off.

GGG missed again with the mtx video acting like in game. What a missed opportunity. I hope to see a compiled video of all their mtx issues that gets their attention.

The animations happens after you enter the portal, so only your party members see it, not you.
It's a very neat idea, but the execution needs a rework, especially when several people want to use it quickly.

Even if the portals were hard locked per player and everyone would have to wait for the animation to complete to get the next portal, which would disrupt gameflow, for a party of two that could still be managable and thematic fun. But overall rather be a nifty single-player map-device for SSF.
But then it makes no sense that one could never see the animation. It would need to happen when you leave the map and then the device would summon a new portal behind you.
Dunno if it checking for whether you're solo or in a party for it to change animation mode is a realistic idea. Probably too convoluted, despite the monetary investment level.

An equally big issue I had with mine is that it flickers when starting its spin animation. As if there's a frame missing in the model animation where it doesn't exist. Don't know if this is a local problem. My machine does stutter as its not the most powerful out there, but this is not a visual bug I have encountered anywhere else.

I would suggest:
1) Fix the animation flicker
2) Rework when the animation does what / for whom.

Otherwise this really cool idea is a cat in the bag.

If this goes to poe2, which it will because they are too busy with something else, then no reason to support the game. No good if we ask for support in support forum for things we bought as supporter packs. Support gone both ways.
