You can't read monster mods while attacking and LMB is down.

I can't tell if this is intended. I don't see why it's a thing. Maybe it's always been this way.

I'd read monster mods as melee (crystals kill me) but I have to let go of LMB, which is kinda annoying.

I play with Windows ClickLock enabled, maybe that makes me special. I still don't see why this is the default behavior.

Regardless of ClickLock(?) this seems to be intended behaviour tied to how melee skills do move only in this situation ?
