How long does email change for account usually take?

Hello, I sent it a support email on the 14th about changing an email for my old account due to not having access to that email. Over the last several days I went through all the required steps to show the account was mine and received the email stating that it had been approved and they would move forward with updating the email for the old account. I sent in the new email and have been waiting to hear back for well over 24 hours. The whole email chain of steps was about 20ish emails back and forth with none taking longer than a few hours to respond. Does it usually take this long to make the change? Also just want to make sure it didnt get lost in the stack after the last email I sent with the info. I currently am unable to login to the account due to wanting to switch the the client vs steam and since the account was made 10+ years ago have forgotten my password to it. Really want to get back to playing league and didnt know if this was normal.
