X-mouse button control

Hi, I just want to ask if it is safe to use x-mouse button control on my scroll wheel to bind left click on scroll up and down. My hand is really starting to hurt after clicking too many times on the left mouse button. I did saw empyriangaming video about it but I'm not really sure if it is safe to use I wanna ask first to avoid any problems. Thank you.

In general, we do not encourage the creation or use of third-party tools because they provide advantages for players that use them. I'm afraid, due to the dynamics of our policies, we're unable to guarantee if a tool is allowed or would remain allowed in the future. I would recommend refraining from creating or using any program that automates gameplay or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible. | |

GGG needs to make the game more open to making UI based gameplay requirements easier. Having the ability to dump full tabs into inventory is an example where we, the players, wouldn't need to want or need any third party help. Clicking on individual items a few dozen times just to move gear is a pain in the a$$ and over lengthy periods of time playing the game may incur physical problems for some people (wrist issues from the millions of avoidable clicks :)).
So, maybe focus on the improvement that the players are obviously needing. Many popular streamers are obviously using third party tools when we watch them look. Auto hot key, x-mouse, or some hardware companies and their associated tooling for keyboard/mouse automations are the primary methods. |
