Pseudo "# total Elemental Resistances" counts the number of different elements the items gives resistances to.

Pseudo "+#% total Elemental Resistance" counts how much resistance the item grants across all three elements.

Yes. Adding Fire Resistance, but not Cold Resistance or Lightning Resistance, means that it is adding to 1 Total Elemental Resistance. That is how I explained the pseudo stat filter "# total Elemental Resistances".

It is adding +57% Fire Resistance, but if you're looking for that number, you'd want to look at the pseudo stat filter "+#% total Elemental Resistance".
