Connecting Steam deleted my char on PoE itself

Hi,

I wanted to connect my steam to PoE account. I have player on steam all the time and after connecting there was a message that my data will be deleted on PoE account as much I've understood, but now it's deleted also on steam and I also can't create character with the same name as well.

Is there a way to undo this action? Coz now I have all my efforts gone and can't even create a char with the name I used...

It took 2 days, but I think you should not forget about end of the year, many people are on vacations.
