Abyss pit not closing

Abyss Pit not closing

Running Vault Map.
Abyss spire spawns with pits.
Kill Abyss spire.
Pit does not close after killing spire.
Mobs still spawn, total that keep spawning around 6 white mobs.
No exp or drops happen from mobs.
Moving away and coming back does not end Abyss.
Killing monsters does not end abyss.
