Tane still shows up in Karui shores base

It's a little sad to me that metamorph was removed, so I was rather surprised when I got to the Karui shores after the campaign, and who is there? Tane!

Is he supposed to still be there, or have GGG forgot to remove him?

Could even talk with him, unlike the one in my hideout.
