Can't access weapon sockets!!

Path of Exile will not let me access my gems on my weapon?!?!?! For the Playstation version, I try to go to gems in weapon and it won't let me do it. PLZ fix bug too. THX GGG.

This is randomly happening with various gear pieces (mostly weapon and body, but has also happened with gloves).
Taking off the item will let you mess with the sockets, sometimes permanently (i.e. even after re-equipped), but sometimes it stays bugged when you put it back on. | |
