Scourge Hideout Decoration
I'm trying to make my own hideout and I want to place the same decorations in both "worlds" - normal and scourge and then add some more in second. Is there a way to import decorations into scourge hideout?

Sorry for the delay here. I have sent you a direct message about this as it is quite detailed :)

For anyone else that's curious to how one could approach this:
If you export the hideout to a file and open it in a text editor, there's a list of "doodads". Each doodad is a decoration, where x/y/r denotes where it's placed and rotated, while "fv" indicates which variant it is and if it's flipped or phased into the Scourge dimension. For a decoration that is in normal space, you can add 64 to the value to Scourge it, and remove 64 from a Scourged decoration to bring it back. (An addend of 128 indicates if it's flipped, the rest of the number is the variant.) As such, you can copy and paste the entries for your normal decorations and adjust the "fv" field to make duplicates in the alternate dimension. Note that the 750 decoration limit still holds and that there should be a comma between the doodad entries but not after the last doodad in the file. | |
