Transferring microtransactions between versions of Path of Exile

I was deep into Path of Exile on PS5 when my hardware broke. I'd like to resume my character on PC or Mac with all of my many microtransactions but don't see a way to do that. Is it possible? What am I doing wrong?

I'm really sorry, but I'm afraid that it isn't possible for us to merge accounts, or to transfer purchases or microtransactions between a console version and the PC version of Path of Exile, as they are entirely separate. I'm sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.

That is incredibly disappointing news. Are there plans to merge the two in the future? I've invested over $1000 based on the announcement that POE 1 microstranscations will work with POE 2. I suppose it's my fault for assuming that would mean cross platform as well. I have to be honest and confess that my confidence in GGG has been disturbed and I will unfortunately think twice about investing further into this game & company that I previously LOVED WITH ALL MY HEART. I cannot overstate how disappointing this is.

" Nope, pretty sure this was both a technical limitation being on totally different servers (as far as i know the ones on the PS are sony owned) and a financial move from sony to force everyone to buy new mtx if going from PC to ps4/5 Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

Now I'm concerned about how this could affect mictotransactions in the transition from POE 1 to 2 on the Playstation platform (PS4 POE1 client to PS5 POE2 client). Please tell me I'm worried for no good reason. I don't think I can handle any more bad news.
