Trade site multiple copies of mods? Why?

Why are there sooo many mods that have multiple copies of themselves? It gives me anxiety when I wonder if im choosing the right one or not and then I have to check both just to make sure that the results are the same. Can you please fix this for the enormous amount of duplicated mods?
