Nerf on the reflection on Golden Statue Hideout Decorations?

I liked having Golden Statues on my Map Device and liked them reflecting the light of certain portals.

However, I've just found the reflection has been significantly diminished and am really sad about it. Below pictures are the comparison between past leagues and this league, taken with the same graphic settings.





I've tested several other portals and they all have the same issue, which makes me assume the change was done to the statue not to the portals.

I loved how the statues glow beautifully, in different colors reflecting portal effects. This has been a big "nerf" to my mapping experience, and I'd be really happy if it got reverted.
