[3.17] Omniscience Tornado Shot Deadeye (Low-High Budget)

Hey everyone! Oniscience is one of the best amulets to come out recently, and it enables so many new builds. This is my take on Tornado Shot Omniscience. In general I would say it is more defensive than others, but I would not describe this build as tanky. You will still get one shot when doing juiced maps, but in general it is more defensive than my other bow builds. I will have 3 budgets for this build. Low budget doesn't function as well as other league start builds, so I recommend that you have some currency before starting (or league start with Spectral Helix and reroll? idk maybe need to work on that). Low budget uses Uniques still, since they will be very cheap a week or so in. You can run it without any uniques though. Mid budget is closer to my current build, which you can see in the video. Barrage vs. Totems for single target Using Tornado Shot as my main clear skill, it already does some pretty good single target. Since that is the case, adding totems make it feel better than using barrage, since totems can attack while using my main skill. This is my preference, while in the highend Barrage can have some insane dps. Overall I would say use totems with Tornado Shot, but if you are using Ice Shot or Lightning Arrow, Barrage would be better. Tornado Shot vs. Lightning Arrow vs. Ice Shot I have used all of these in testing, and they all work very well with the same build. Tornado Shot is my favorite skill in the game so I choose that. Lightning Arrow is the best option at a lower budget. Deadeye vs. Raider Both are very viable this league, especially with Forbidden Flame/Flesh allowing Raider to get Endless Munitions. Deadeye works better on a lower-mid budget since you get the +2 arrows from ascending. Hope you enjoy! Changelog

I was gonna ask about freezing and then I realized I didn't read the Pantheon part. But now all is fine and I'm enjoying the build, keep up the good work.

Feels like the POBs need extra work. I opened the mid budget see a 6 link tornado shot totem, but the bow is 5 link with nightblade in it...?

Thanks for sharing this guide. Question: why do you run Determination instead of Grace? It seems like your gear and skills are focused on buffing evasion, why not go all the way with Grace?
|
|
Pretty fun build with a HH.
Put about 15-20ex in the build without the hh. | |
" Determination is overall a stronger gem. The dex based gear is used for suppression rolls. Both are viable, but the meta right now is to get armour since it pairs nicely with suppression. |
|
" The PoBs are fine, it was the bow I linked in the forum guide that had the gem. I was using a 6L since I changed the bow recently and just stuck with it for a bit. I was using the extra spot to level a gem |

There is potential, but this guide needs work.
1. You need to be more specific. You mention that Lightning Arrow is better at a lower budget. Why? When does this change? Doesn't need to be a lengthy explanation, even one sentence explaining the difference or when players might consider switching to TS (e.g. once they get at least 2-3+ arrows from quiver/enchant/bow). 2. Briefly outline gear objectives. Yes, most players will be familiar with getting res capped, but talk about how much spell suppression and accuracy they will need. e.g. You need # accuracy from your gear, e.g. T1 roll on gloves or quiver. You need #% spell suppression from gear, which you can get from 2 rolls on your helmet/gloves/boots. 3. Determination with no armor from any other source is rubbish. If you want to use Determination, then recommend hybrid armor/evasion gear and have at least one flask with increased armor suffix. This will get to you around 20k armor which is reasonable for these builds. 4. Flasks in PoB are a bit crap. Update to include proper flasks, these are important. 5. Mana. I don't know which PoB I'm looking at, but it has 33 unreserved mana..that isn't enough when your attacks cost 14 mana with 4 APS and you can't use your mark either (52 mana cost). Fix those. 6. I don't know why the build has two mediocre abyss jewels. These are really useful slots. You could slot in a replica conqueror's efficiency to bring mana costs down even further, an abyss jewel with % phasing on kill or a watcher's eye. 7. You almost certainly want the 15% more proj speed mastery! I haven't played the build, just my thoughts. Good luck! Last edited by BrettLee on Mar 24, 2022, 2:14:31 AM
