Will the fight of Maven (Writ ) give me the Voidstone even if I am dead when you kill Maven ? Or does this give just an open-slot for favor map ?

I can't beat Maven at all, I am too bad at memory games. Maven is the worst boss fight design of the game, from my opinion.
