Help with build appreciated
Hi! Hope I am not posting this thread in the wrong section, seems to be mainly guides here.
Anyways, my problem is the same I usually run into past white maps, I'm having a tough time getting enough tank while maintaining dps. I always make my own builds and I do not use PoB either so most of my ideas are hit and miss, and generally end up missing. Anyways, the mechanics for this build are: ailment stacking zerphis heart chaos spark stacking projectile speed and fork / pierce. I started out with voidwalkers and am trying awakened fork instead for now. I've been able to maintain 80% shock on map bosses up into rare nonjuiced yellowmaps. Also 30% chill on bosses. My idea was that if I build for poison dps and scale full ailment then maybe something that shocks and poisons (and also the token ignite) will kind of double dip ailment scaling and to some extent it seems to have worked since the dps is actually workable so far. Then again I do run double curse and have a +2 6link so dps should be ok with that if nothing else. I got painseeker gloves with temporal chains on hit, a rare ring with despair on hit. A 6link cospris will (poison chance on curse) with +2 projectile corruption for spark. A 6 link voltaxic rift for flame wall. A 20/20 phantasmal spark. All gems are 20/20 or 21/0 for inspiration or 20 qual and being leveled since I run 3 awakened gems. One (THE thing I guess) thing is ofc life pool, currently at lvl 91 im sitting at an abysmal 2440 life that I run petrified blood on. Build does have 9.5k armor, 30k evasion, 21/15 block and spellblock, chill / freeze immune, 76/76/75 resist, corrupted blood immune and so forth so some boxes are ticked, I think the main problem is the low life. But the way the build functions I kinda guess that voltaxic rift, zerphis heart, painseeker and cospris will are must have. Cospris will could be changed but would require investment in chance to poison and also into extra curse sinec tempchains + despair seems important for both tank and dps. And because of zerphis heart getting enough attributes is an investment. I changed boots to the stampede to get more mobility via dash and to free up a quicksilver flask for a granite flask. I ran mind over matter + petrified blood at first, then I dropped mind over matter, picked up grace and defiance banner and diverted alot of passives into cluster jewels and extra evasion. Also tried running dendrobate before cospris will to get the chance to poison to 100%. Im not noticing much of change after dropping mind over matter for better mitigation, neither worse nor better. All I can say is I really enjoy playing projectile speed ailment chaosspark, its hilarious and such a wonky build idea that I like it. But it would be alot more fun if I could actually farm red maps with it without getting dumpstered by angry white mobs. Any ideas on how I can improve tank without changing the core build idea? Im not sure my character is accessible, its "FullPlasticAlchemist". Thought of the "supreme ostentation" timeless jewel, if diverting attributes into hp but losing attribute bonuses would improve net tank. Or something like going ES instead of life. I've also thought of if the build idea would play better as some kind of physical spell / attack elementalist and just drop zerphis heart. Scaling projectile speed / duration indirectly to damage with spark is so niche that if I drop spark I think I may as well reroll from pathfinder completely. With cospris will + curse mastery thats 20% elemental ailment + 80% poison chance right of the bat. Post all over the place, sorry about that. Would be fun if anyone has constructive criticism!
