LATENCY ISSUE PLEASE HELP (SINGAPORE, ASIAN SERVERS)

Having the same issue in logs that says "FMOD MISSING EVENT" Please check my MTR for possible issues

Levelling through acts 1-10 & and doing other league content have no issue on latency whatsoever but when i entered mapping there goes my latency then disconnect. First time i thought the issue was in maps/zones but after running that certain laggy map i have come to a conclusion that the latency issue comes from the mobs. Also, I'm having the same issue with this guy in logs that says "FMOD MISSING EVENT"

I started playing the league on a fresh install and noticed huge latency spikes which I just thought were caused by the server.
On Saturday I still had lag spikes from time to time. I then started just waiting for them to go away, which didn't happen. No matter how long I waited it wouldn't go away so naturally I checked my bandwidth usage and all of it was used up by PoE (my connection is bad, mind you). Running around a bit and looking at my latency and bandwidth usage it seemed to be area specific.
I noticed that it only happened in certain areas of a given map or zone and wouldn't go away until I either killed a given pack or got away far enough for it to unload.
Looking into the log file and talking to a friend who had similar issues and asking him to look into his log I noticed that a number of "FMOD MISSING EVENT" errors was being created by, apparently, missing or corrupted sound events which I assume then prompted those lags. That'd also explain the area specific nature of it all.

Noticed that there are lots of players posting in the technical forums in this issue.Let me know your opinion, guys. I use a wired connection, already reinstalled, using a VPN, restarted my whole house still nothing works, sadly.

Same thing happens to me, singapore server. Latency keep spiking up and then crash, also alot of instant crashes

Same here, playing from Thailand using Singapore gateway with Exitlag connection to Singapore as well.

Some maps work perfect others are a complete lag festival.

Before there was always a new instance selected when entering maps so it mostly worked to TP out and back in to solve the issue. However since the last update if a map is on a laggy server nothing helps except open a new one and hope for the best....

In general the Singapore gateway has been a mess for years now, there seem to be 2 providers and this causes random lag spikes.

Could you guys fix this please its a pain to die on HC due to this...

GGG is ignoring this issue like they don't even need players in their game.

Singapore realm is always laggy in most league. it not that bad when the previous league but in the scourge league it back to shitty server again. In my opinion, GGG will not care about this because the problem is always there since the beginning of the age. So, don't have a high hope for this Singapore server to get fixed.

As somebody who decide to play on EU/JP server long ago I can say Singapore server is the worst one, it often become so unstable and unplayable there.

Even if you play from SEA's country you can try any Europe or Japan server, yes the ping is higher than SG server but it's way better than unstable server.

I don't know if it's because the Company who manage SG server not doing their work properly or it has high traffic or it only prioritize traffic from SG only but not other country.

Because compare to other server like EU/NA/JP/KR server, which the location is way further than SG from SEA countries, their server has a relative stable connection to another country.

Unless you play in SG or have a stable connection to SG server I just can suggest to try another server.

Edit:
- Unstable means the latency is not constant or change so much, like from 30ms then suddenly jump to 500ms, it can cause stupid lag appearance or even kick you out from the server (jump to login screen).

- You can play on higher ping server, for example, which has 120 (which is still playable) as long it has stable connection you won't get the same problem as a server which has unstable connection to your PC.

I hate to say that the solution to the problem is "Just play on other server 4Head", but that's the reality for me lol.

Nope I tried other server and it's way stable than SG (even though it has higher ping because it further than SG)

I also play on other gateways, unfortunately it seems a lot of Thailand traffic runs via Singapore anyways. I can see via Exitlag that some routes go via SG.

Maybe I need to try a seperate VPN to connect directly to either TW or JP.
The ping is higher but it should be below 100 ms and as long as it is stable its much better than the stop and go with SG lags.

Anyone has some good experience with VPN providers ?
