Steam: Duplicate login requests

As the title says, I keep getting this "Steam: Duplicate login requests" error.

I try to log in the first time and it says "Unexpected disconnect occurred", then when trying any further times I simply get the duplicate login requests error.

Restarting the client and steam is the only way to clear the error, but then its straight back to unexpected disconnect > duplicate login requests.

I am receiving the same issue, I was playing, needed to restart my pc now im getting this error.

I received the same error after a few times i fully closed the game and the Steam interface and went in task manager and killed the Steam process. After i relaunched Steam i was able to get in then.

Killing processes in task manager hasn't worked for me.

Same issue for me.

just got this as well, crashed in a heist. killing steam through task manager didn't fix it for me

edit: came back a few min later, picked a server on the other side of the world, and it let me in. all works fine again after that, idk.

I log out in web browser and login again can fix it

End the steam from the task manager and it work
