Any and all bosses in seconds CoC Ice spear




Hi, I'd like to introduce you to my Cast on Crit Ice Spear Deadeye, which I was and still am playing in 3.13 Ritual League. The main selling points of this build is the outrageous DPS and amazing clear speed. I've done all content except uber Atziri, because the reflect instantly kills me. You can also do all content deathless however that's more skill based than build based.

This was all done in softcore Ritual trade-league.


Pro's

+ Absurd DPS
+ Almost equally absurd clear speed
+ Kill Conquerors within/under 1 second
+ Great Life gained on hit from both attacks and spells
+ Permanently Freeze, Chill and Blind your enemies
+ No gem swapping for single target
+ Ok life pool


Con's

- Prone to one shots, evade/dodge based
- Requires a very Active play-style (this does not have to be a negative)
- Expensive to min-max
- Might be expensive to some to get going
- Can't run Elemental Reflect
- Can't run No Leech
- White mobs are harder than Rare mobs...
- You will die

- Remember to use Snakepit in the Right ring slot
- Required to get 15% Cooldown on Boots
- Required to get 12% Cooldown on belt
- Required to get +1 to Socketed Gems on bow
This is to get 52% Cooldown Recovery for 10 potential procs per second

Flasks:

- Diamond Flask is the only mandatory Flask
- My equipped Flasks are the ones I've had the most success with however
- If you choose to use a Life flask you can swap out whichever one
- Remember to get Freeze Immunity on the Diamond Flask

Cluster Jewels:

Large Cluster Jewels:

- 1 Corrosive Elements + Blanketed Snow
- 2 Blanketed Snow + Sadist
- Max 8 Passive Skills

- A budget option for Large Clusters is Vengeful Commander + Prismatic Heart + Widespread Destruction

Always make sure you get the correct Notables in the correct places on the Large Cluster Jewels. Copying them from trade-site into path of building will show you how it will look in-game.

- 1 Cold Conduction + Astonishing Affliction
- The rest is Pressure Points + Basics of Pain
- Max 5 Passive Skills

Small Cluster Jewel:

- Feast of Flesh + Strength (for Divergent Berserk)
- Can get whatever else as extra Suffixes
- Ideally 3 Passive Skills

Corrupted blood on Volley Fire jewel is cheap and welcomed

Lethal Pride Jewel with "under Akoya" for Chainbreaker keystone

Watcher's Eye only needs Life gained on hit while affected by Vitality, the rest is only extra

Awakened Cast on Crit Support is necessary for my iteration of CoC Ice spear, but feel free to use the normal versions of the other 2 woke gems

Body armour links:
Hatred - Herald of Ice - Precision - Vitality - Enlighten - Vaal Righteous Fire
Enighten needs to be level 4, and Vitality should be kept at level 1.
Body armour only needs to be 5-linked.

Playstyle

Shoot and move. Cannot press this enough, you will rarely die if you keep moving.
For bosses I suggest getting up close and personal to maximize hits/crits per second then react to their attacks if they live that long.


First build guide so i appreciate suggestions and feedback.

Is this build league startable? Or are you supposed to play something else and transition once you have enough exes?

No, I do not think this is league start-able. The best advice I can give is to start as self cast Toxic Rain or Toxic Rain miner or any other bow skill you know to be good. Steelmage just leveled a Toxic Rain Ranger on stream. You might be able to find something good there.

Transition wise I think you can transition at a minimum of 10ex, MAYBE 5ex. You need to crit on most of your arrows and usually that requires some investment as a Deadeye. Oskarm are a nice budget option along with the Focal Point passive point from Deadeye Ascendancy.
Have you tried this with Asenath's Chant and hydrosphere?
