[MAC] Temple Map lockup (the actual map, not Solaris Temple)

I ran my first Temple map last night. Midway through, the game froze and I got the spinning pizza of death (with music), and realized that the map had the same tileset as the known-problematic Solaris Temple 2 and that it was behaving the same way. I frantically started mashing command-option-q and command-option-esc, to no avail. After several seconds, however, my screen went entirely red (other than the SPOD cursor); the music continued. Eventually had to power down my machine again.

So, there's some evidence that the problem has to do with the tileset itself.
