Mac/OSX: Keybinding bugs, Tab & arrow key alert sounds

Downloaded the OSX client and have been been playing for a few days. Works okay for an experimental build, but I've been having some issues with keybindings:
- The Tab key and arrow keys give an "alert sound" every time I press them when the game is open.
- As a workaround, I have changed the Map keybinding from Tab to a different key in the Options menu, but this resets back to the default (Tab) each time I restart the game.


Specs:
MacBook Pro (mid 2014)
OSX 10.15.16 Catalina
Nvidia GForce GT 750M
16 GB RAM
