higher than usual ping on australia server from NZ

I'm playing on the Australia realm from NZ. Over the last 2-3 days it seems like I've been experiencing a bit more rubberbanding than usual, playing on predictive mode. Ingame ping sits around 90-100 and bounces to 200 occasionally. In the past it's been more like 60-80. Nothing looks too bad in the WinMTR and no one else is reporting anything, so I'm kind of at a loss.
