Angelic Hood MTX causes "black box" when Elusive buff is active

I got the Angelic Hood MTX today and got the known "black box" in the middle of the screen that blocks out everything.
The box only appears when the Elusive buff is active.

I did not update any drivers or change any settings before I got the problem.
Deselecting the Angelic Hood MTX removes the problem so I guess I'll make do without that MTX for now.
