Unrecognized or bad HTTP Content while downlaoding client

I just updated my pc to windows 10, and while downloading the PoE standalone client, I got an error window saying:

Connection Failure

Error: Unrecognized or bad HTTP Content or Transfer-Encoding while downloading http://patchcdn.pathofexile.com/3.11.0.5/Metadata/Terrain/Temple/Splashy/templesplash_halfstairs_concave_v01_01.tdt

The error seems to occur around halfway through the download , though there was some variance (mostly within 40-60%)
Launching PoE again will start the download again (preserving progress), but once again fail with exactly the same error (the same file fails) at another point similarly varying around the halfway mark in the new download. I was able to repeat this until there was only 1024 Bytes remaining (likely just that one file).
