Why can't I craft anything else on here?

Hi people,
I managed to craft this fleshripper and I slapped multimod onto it... but I can only put 2 mods on here. Is this intended? Does the mod itself count toward the total number of crafted modifiers?



If so... how is something like this made?

2 reasons - it already has six mods and it already has 3 crafted mods.

For question 2, it's called a hybrid mod. You didn't really think someone would use multimod to craft 16 life did you?
