So, I'm a bit confused about Necro builds ...

Hey folks,

as we've all probably noticed thus far, there have been many changes, adjustments and nerfs for Necros with patch 3.10. And, there's a variety of opinions about builds and how strong or weak they've become.

Now, I don't know if I'm the only one, but I'm increasingly getting confused - hence this discussion. I'd like to get your guys' opinions about and experience with the Necro's situation post 3.9. Which build is currently working best for you? What kind of adjustments did you make in order to get the build you're running to work? What kind of advice can you give to someone who plans to play a Necro?

I'm currently running brunowa's "King of All Summoners" build. I've been already playing it on Standard in 3.9 and it felt quite good if not completely busted. ;)
This said, now, it's obvious that it's not even close to being as potent as it was in 3.9. I will be getting a Baron soon and I will have a look at how the build performs with just above 1000 strength and low-budget eq.

I was wondering if some of you run or have switched to other Necro builds, such as a spectres or AG? Or have you switched to a spellcaster or another class altogether?

I like playing necro with max block for defense. Spirit offering was nerfed so use bone offering. In helmet: herald of agony. In chest armour: herald of purity. Plus arakaali dagger for mapping. Everything dies.

How exactly do you think your gettin max block now on necro? Do the math please, I’d really like to see it.
